What We Offer
Private, In-Home Lessons
I come to you, for 45 minute private lessons, in YOUR home. I coach you to train your dog and fit training into YOUR busy schedule.
We start with a meet-and-greet and meet once a week to train fundamental behaviors (Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Watch Me, Touch, Leave It and Drop It) and leash walking. Let's talk also about enrichment and exercise.
We can also address any unwanted behaviors like Jumping, Housebreaking, Digging, Chewing, Puppy "Biting" and Counter Surfing with a Behavior Modification Plan.
Life is too short to not enjoy the company of your dog!
If you are too busy to train your dog with me, I can also do "day training" packages in your own home. With this option, I do a couple lessons with the dog, alone, and then catch you up with what we are doing in a transfer lesson. Please contact me directly for options.
PRICING
Private lessons start at $85 for 45 minute lesson, in your own home.
Meet and Greet (initial consultation) is $50.
I always offer a $5 off discount, per lesson, for rescued and shelter adopted dogs.
Packages of 4 lessons, paid up front, are further discounted. Contact us for a quote!
Daily Walks
We come to your home and
take your dog out for a 30-minute walk. We can work training polite behaviors like Sit at Streets and loose leash walking.
My daily dog clients have learned to loose-leash walk and heel in the course of our daily walks. Walking well on a leash requires PRACTICE, PATIENCE and PAY (rewards). If you do not enjoy walking your own dog, or are unable to, please give me a chance to help or do it for you!
My specialty is Walk & Train outings. I come and walk your dog, privately, and we work on basic and advanced leash skills. Make it a package and let me show you how, once your dog and I are in step.
PRICING
20 minute let-outs (fenced yard only, or must be on leash) are $23.
30 minute walks are $27.
Longer visits are available or discount for multiple daily walks (same day, pet sitting excluded).

Petsitting
We come to your house while you are away overnight or on vacation.
We offer overnight pet sitting* (book a minimum of 2 weeks in advance), or we can come 3-4 times a day (first visit around 7 am, bedtime visit around 9 pm) to feed, water, play with and walk your dog.
We also care for cats, birds, fish and reptiles and small animals, if needed.
Meet and greet is complimentary.
PRICING
Overnight vacation sitting* starts at $125 for overnight sitter in your home from 8 pm-8 am. Two (2) 30 minute let-out or walks during the day are included.
*This option is subject to sitter availability.
Regular vacation pet sitting is $81 for three (3) 30 minute visits/walks or $100 for four (4) 30 minute visits/walks.
We start your pet's day around 7 am and do bedtime rounds at 9 pm.
They are overnight by themselves. Most dogs and cats do very well with this option.

As a pet owner of two large, senior dogs, a parrot and tropical fish aquarium, I know how important quality care is and how it can be difficult to find someone to love and care for your pets when you aren't there. Whether it be walks, training or pet sitting, you can rest assured that I will care for your "fur babies" as if they were my own.
I specialize in basic training of your pup in manners. If you'd like more assistance on obedience training or non-aggressive behavior modification like: barking, jumping up or polite greetings, I'd be happy to help with that, as well. I prefer to use positive reinforcement training methods only.
Training, Walks & Petsits by Paula is fully bonded and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. I'm a member of Pet Sitters International. I have been certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and have attained my CCDT certification from CATCH Canine Trainers Academy.
